A Big Thank You
For your patience in allowing the tournament to finish on time. It was a real challenge and took hours to adjust schedules for both families and volunteer help (who did a great job drying of the courts, working the tournament desk and acting as court monitors.) The players loved the trophies and some enjoyed the Dunkin Donuts provided by Dunkin. I have run dozens of tournaments over my career, from Pro AMs on the WTA tour, the ITF Crawford Cup, USTA NorCal sanctioned events, club championships, to the USPTA Junior Circuit. This was my last tournament as I move away from the club Director of Tennis position to teaching only at Sleepy Hollow. It's been a pleasure.
A quick reminder about entering tennis tournaments. The tournament committee schedules matches with many factors to consider. Special requests (called a schedule avoidance) can be made, but it is not possible to accomodate all requests especially when the weather is a major factor in determing the schedul. The schedule is done so all the players can complete the tournament on time.
CHECK YOUR PLAYING TIMES. Do not phone the club for conditions and if your match is on time.
CONSOLATION MATCHES ARE PRO SETS - FIRST TO WIN 8 GAMES, NO AD SCORING.

Location: All matches will be played at Sleepy Hollow T&S, 1 Sunnyside Lane, Orinda 94563.
Seating: Bring your own chair.
Water: Refill station and ice is on first floor of clubhouse behind Court #7
Snacks: We will not have our usual assortment of snacks and drinks due to the possibility we have to cancel.
BATHROOMS: Located on first floor of clubhouse
