Welcome to the 2021 Sleepy Hollow USPTA Junior Tournament.

The DRAWS, with your first match time, have been posted online.

Sleepy Hollow is located at 1 Sunnyside Ln, Orinda 94563. Single Elimination with consolation round tournament - entries may be limited - 10 & unders to play on full court with green dot control ball. Entry fee is $49

SEATING; PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS,WATER, SNACKS.

THE TOURNAMENT DESK is for the players to check in when they arrive and report scores immediately upon conclusion of their match. Players, not parents, need to check in when they arrive at the club.

CONSOLATION ROUNDS; This tournament has First Match Loser Consolation. This means you will play again if you lose your first match. Check with the tournament desk upon completion of your first round to find out your next match time. When you enter a tournament, you are obligated to play the event until it's conclusion. This applies to the Consolation Event as well. It's a benefit to all the players to play more matches.

SCORES; Will be recorded on the Top Dog site immediatley after being reported to the tournament desk. Check results and playing times.

SNACKS; Unfortunately, we will not be providing snacks or drinks at this event. We have a refill station for your water bottles located on the ground floor next to the tennis office.

COACHING; The guidelines for coaching a player are listed in the document below. Download the document and bring to the tournament desk signed by whomeve will be the coach. Our experience tells us that coaching causes the matches to run long because the amount of time on changeovers passes the limit. Please be brief in your advice so we can continue to offer this nice feature. This is not the US Open or Wimbledon, let the children enjoy their matches.

COURT MONITORS: We have volunteers who will help monitor the courts. They try to keep the matches moving along. Please respect their efforts. If you would like to be a court monitor while you are at the tournament, please let the tournament desk know.

UTR QUESTION: Will the results of the tournament count towards my Universal Tennis Rating? To be clear; The match results will count toward a player’s unverified rating NOT their verified rating. Don't get caught up with your rating - enjoy developing all aspects of your game.
