TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Schedule:

·Signups: 01/19 – 02/23

·Tournament Draw Party: 02/27 at 6:00pm

·Round 1: 02/28 – 03/18. If no other times work for you, be available on 03/18 at 1:00pm or face potential disqualification.

·Round 2: 03/19 - 04/08. If no other times work for you, be available on 04/08 at 1:00pm or face potential disqualification.

·Round 3: 04/09 - 04/29. If no other times work for you, be available on 04/29 at 1:00pm or face potential disqualification.

·Round 4: 04/30 - 05/13

Format:

·Single elimination

·Player-Scheduled, with deadlines

·Best of three full sets

·Levels – 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0+

·Playing up is by committee permission only

Seeding Event: Everyone is invited to the Tennis Clubhouse to participate in seeding teams at 6:00pm on Friday, 02/10/2017. Seeds will be determined by PLR Input, Tournament Committee judgment, popular acclaim, and open argument. Complimentary appetizers will be served.

Scheduling:

·This event is Player-Schedule, meaning that you need to be available nights, weekends, and possibly during the day. If you are traveling extensively, or are overloaded with other commitments, then this format may not work for you.

·The Tournament Committee will encourage players to step aside if they are causing an undue delay in the event. To play in this event means a player is willing to give priority to meeting the deadlines for this event.
