#2 USPTA Jr Circuit Sleepy Hollow TC Tournament

Entries open Aug. 28 - Entry deadline is Sept. 25 at midnight, entry fee is $39, Tournament director is Jim Coyne. Communicate with the tournament by EMAIL ONLY. Site is at Sleepy Hallow Tennis and Swim, 1 Sunnyside Ln, Orinda, Ca 94563. Single Elimination with first match consolation - entries may be limited - 10 & unders to play on full court with green dot control ball. PRACTICE COURTS: We have a full day of matches scheduled for Saturday. Only court 2 is available for practice. I would strongly suggest the players share the court rather than parents hitting with their child. Another suggestion is to warm up on courts close to your home. Players are given 5 minutes to warmup with their opponent - court monitors will be present to insure a brief warmup. LUNCH: We have secured a Food Shack to be at Sleepy Hollow for Saturday of the tournament. Please enjoy lunch with your family at our club. LOUNGE CHAIRS: Please bring your own chairs for viewing matches. PRIZES: Just like last year, we have some exciting trophies for the Winner, Finalist and Consolation Winner. Stick around for the trophy presentation and cheer for the players and their hard earned victories. VOLUNTEERS: We will have several people volunteering to help this event along. Please be respectful of their efforts as many will be making their initial assistants with the tournament. PERSONAL NOTE: I am proud to say that I am one of the original pros (while the Director of Tennis at the Claremont Resort) who set up this circuit of tournaments over 30 years ago. We really enjoy hosting this tournament on the USPTA circuit and we trust you will be there to support your own child and of course the opponent as well for their great play.
