The class takes place on Thursday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

Players enrolled in this class play on Sleepy Hollow Junior Tennis Team and participate in the SH Summer Tennis Program. Players know how to keep score, basic rules of the game.

Age: 8 - 14.

Ball Type: Green and Yellow (regular ball)

Player Rating Level: 3.0 Details: Improved consistency on medium-paced shots. Forehand is more reliable than backhand. Player is developing the ability to control the direction of the ball but majority of shots are directed toward the middle of the court. Developing the ability to add spin on serves, though second serve is often considerably slower than the first serve. Increasing teamwork in doubles; common doubles formation is one up and one back. This player may play in lower-level tournaments, local junior team tennis and/or an intermediate USTA Junior Team Tennis team.

Competitions: Players in the this class are strongly encouraged to play for the Sleepy Hollow Team in the Fall Junior Team Tennis League. Entering USPTA and local USTA tournaments are also encouraged

Registration is on a monthly basis. Cost: $30 per class and billed to your Sleepy Hollow account.

There is no charge for rainouts.

Makeups are up to the student to attend another class within this registration period and not carried over to the following month.
