WHAT? Pickleball League

WHEN?

Monday nights: 6pm to 8pm, indoors and outdoors for Men (Max 32 players)

Beginning Monday Nov 1st, continuing for 10 straight weeks (skipping Dec 27 )

WHERE? Carmel Valley Bay Club

FORMAT: You sign up by yourself, not as a team. You will play doubles matches. Each session you will be required to play 3 games (to 11 points), 1 game with each person on your court, which is a total of 3 games each session. After you finish the 3rd game you win continue to play until an hour is up. Your win/loss record (eg, 3-0, 2-1, 1-2 ) will be recorded each session. Each week you will be paired with 3 other players who have a winning percentage closest to you, as a running total of your winning percentage will be tabulated each week. There may be some mismatches at the beginning as you will initially be paired at random, but as the league progresses, each week your matches will be closer and closer to your level as winning percentages become more accurate and levels of play are averaged from more data.

Players will have their games scheduled to start at either 6PM or 7PM each week. Players can sub in the game before or after theirs on a weekly basis. For those who want to play for 2 hours each week I am anticipating one open court indoors each week. Players can take turns playing on that court as well.

COST: $75

PRIZES: Awards will be presented to the top 3 players at the conclusion of the league.

VERY IMPORTANT: You must show up each session or send a sub. The league is ruined for your court if you do not show, as the other 3 players will be unable to play . Please send an email to the group of players in the league. I will have a sub list if the players in the league are unable to sub in.
