WHAT? Pickleball League

WHEN?

Monday nights: 6pm to 8pm, indoors and outdoors for Men (Max 20 players)

Beginning Monday August 23rd, continuing for 8 straight weeks (skipping Labor Day weekend )

WHERE? Carmel Valley Bay Club

FORMAT: You sign up by yourself, not as a team. You will play doubles matches. Each session you will be required to play 6 games (to 11 points), 2 games with each person on your court, which is a total of 6 games each session. Your win/loss record (eg, 6-0, 5-1, 2-4 ) will be recorded each session. Each week you will be paired with 3 other players who have a winning percentage closest to you, as a running total of your winning percentage will be tabulated each week. There may be some mismatches at the beginning as you will initially be paired at random, but as the league progresses, each week your matches will be closer and closer to your level as winning percentages become more accurate and levels of play are averaged from more data.

COST: $65

PRIZES: Awards will be presented to the top 3 players at the conclusion of the league.

VERY IMPORTANT: You must show up each session or send your own sub. The league is ruined for your court if you do not show, as the other 3 players will be unable to play. We will be supplying a list of people that have signed up to be subs, and you may contact them if you cannot attend a session. Cost is free for subs.
